What symptoms should I expect during the cleanse?
Everybody responds differently to cleansing. Some first timers feel may feel symptoms such as a mild headache, tiredness, hiccups and spots. These are not bad in themselves, but simply the body's way of eliminating the toxins. Your symptoms will very much depend on the degree of internal toxicity before you start the programme. Remember to take time to rest during the cleanse.
Is colonic hydrotherapy painful?
No, the continuous flow of water entering and leaving the bowel creates a cool and gentle sensation in your intestines and bowel.
Is the Mind & Body Cleanse™ a weight loss programme?
No, strictly speaking it is not a weight loss programme, although clients have reported losing anything from 7lbs to 20lbs. You will lose only the weight that you need to lose which is mostly composed of toxic matter.
Should I continue to take supplements after the Cleanse?
I believe that the vitamins and minerals we need in our everyday lives should be derived from the food that we eat. However, if you feel you need additional support then choose good quality supplements appropriate to your needs.
Should I continue to take colonic irrigations after the Cleanse?
I believe in them as a way of maintaining my body so would suggest you have them every 6 months in conjunction with a systematic Cleansing programme. However, it is essential you consult your colonic hydrotherapist for advice.
Will I feel hungry during the programme?
No, you shouldn't. You will be taking the Supercleanse formula, which contains psyllium husk that makes the stomach think that it is full.
What is the difference between enemas and colonic hydrotherapy?
Enemas at best only flush out the rectum and a small part of the lower colon. Colonic hydrotherapy is much more effective in that it reaches the upper part of the colon.
Is colonic irrigation safe?
Yes, providing you use a registered hydrotherapist. All equipment used is either disposable or sterilised, the filtered water is at low pressure and you will be in expert hands. Colonic hydrotherapy is not habit- forming unlike the use of laxatives and enemas.
How often should I do The Mind & Body Cleanse?
Two Cleanses a year are recommended, whilst taking care of your diet in-between by following my nutritional guidance for life recommendations.
