Protein makes up about half of the human body's dry weight. Many of the foods we eat contain protein, particularly flesh foods (chicken, beef, lamb and fish) as well as non animal sources such as legumes, buckwheat, pea, quinoa and hemp for example. Proteins are digested to release amino acids. In the body the amino acids are used to make new proteins, converted into hormones such as adrenalin or used as an energy source. As protein is so important, it is essential that we ingest enough protein on a daily basis; protein powders are not just for bodybuilders!
We only sell protein powders from brands that we know and trust. We only sell organic protein powders.
