Allergy Research DIM®, 120 vegetarian capsules, 30 day supply

Allergy Research DIM®, 120 vegetarian capsules, 30 day supply - £38.22

Allergy Research DIM® Enhanced Delivery System contains BioResponse DIM™, a unique formulation containing pure Diindolylmethane, an indole. Indoles are plant compounds which have shown to have health promoting properties, found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts (Fahey, Zhang and Talalay: 1997).

Patented BioResponse DIM™ is ten times more potent than indole-3-carbinole (I3C). I3C is highly unstable and has no biologic activity until it is converted to DIM. Conversion of I3C takes place in the stomach and requires an appropriately acidic environment. In contrast to I3C, DIM is highly stable, requires no conversion in the stomach, and is the most active cruciferous phyto-nutrient in promoting beneficial Oestrogen metabolism.

Diindolylmethane, or DIM® has been shown to help regulate and promote a more efficient metabolism of Oestrogen, by supporting the body in metabolizing estrogen into more of the protective 2-hydroxyesterone rather than the proliferative 16-hydroxyesterone (Auborn et al:2003).

Why The Hering Clinic Recommends this Product:

DIM (Di-indolylemethane) is a natural phytonutrient (plant nutrient) found in cruciferous vegetables.  It induces a specific enzyme which converts oestrone to 2 hydroxyoestrone (good) rather than 16 alpha hydroxyoestrone (not so good) and may thus have protective effects against oestrogen-dependent cancers (Auborn et al. 2003) such as breast, uterine, ovarian and prostate.  DIM improves metabolism - the breakdown and synthesis of substances in the body - by adjusting the balance of testosterone and estrogen, hormones that are active in both sexes. This improved hormonal balance, scientists have discovered, is also key to helping men and women reach their health and fitness goals.

At The Hering Clinic we prefer Allergy Research DIM since it is microencapsulated.  Michael A. Zeligs, M.D. was awarded a U.S. Patent for absorption-enhanced microencapsulated Diindolylmethane, making it the only formulation shown in humans to improve oestrogen metabolism.  Indeed, we have recommended it to many of our clients who suffer with hormone-related problems.

Directions for Use:
